ONE-PS recognizes Canyon Palms

The Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs (ONE-PS)┬ávoted unanimously during its Nov. 14 monthly meeting to officially recognize Canyon Palms as the city’s 48th organized neighborhood.

The official recognition was by voice vote.

Official recognition clears the way for neighborhood representatives to set up meetings with community policing officers and city officials to discuss common concerns such as public safety and code compliance. Also, Canyon Palms directors are now invited to seminars, workshops and retreats that ONE-PS puts on to train and educate community leaders and volunteers.
